BURIED LOST CITY IN MEXICO

This is an interesting story that hides a lost city in Mexico from its own country. The Treasures in America team and the village are the only people involved with this project. This story was brought to my attention about 2 ½-3 years ago from a lady that grew up in the same village I am speaking of. She approached me one day, telling me that she heard that I was known for historical research and that she has been watching me and believes I’m a trustworthy person. What she told me next still excites me today. An Ancient Lost City of Mexico? This sounds like a great adventure!

THE SECRET THAT HOLDS A HUGE HISTORICAL DISCOVERY

This lady was born in a small village (not a popular city) in Mexico. She explained that her village is one of the poorest villages in all of Mexico. She lived there her whole life until moving to the United States later as an adult. Around the age of 8, she noticed that interesting conversations were frequently talked about in the village. Most of the time, they ended with, “we don’t talk about these things to anyone who lives outside of our village.” A few years had passed, and the villages’ council decided to swear her into their most secret story of all. It was then, she had learned about the “hush-hush” conversations she had heard bits and pieces of for many years…

Their people had relocated to their current living location hundreds of years ago to stay clear of the plundering from the Spanish. Their hope in doing this was to hide anything valuable far away from the Conquistadors who may want to take them away from her people. After a few months of building their new village, people started finding structures, columns, and artifacts close to their settlement. The structures were buried deep, and only the top of the walls were exposed. Ancient artifacts could be found simply by walking in particular areas and looking at the topsoil.

The town had a meeting and decided that they didn’t want anyone to know about their new discovery because it could draw the Spanish (that were looking for riches) to them. They knew the Spanish had just conquered the mighty Aztecs and they were only a small village with no warriors. The monsoon season came and left that year and the villagers decided to cover the artifacts and structures with the dirt so no one could ever see it. This became a town tradition from that point on. Every year after the months of rain, the people would group up for a few days and cover up the secrets once again. They figured the story would never get out and for over 500 years it hasn’t… until the day this lady approached me.

WHEN TREASURES IN AMERICA STARTED OUR INVESTIGATION

After hearing this story, as you can imagine, I had many questions. She told me, “Meet with me tomorrow and I’ll bring a few artifacts from the site that you can see for yourself.” The next day, when we met up, I was in awe and amazed at what she was showing me. Within minutes, I could see that these artifacts had to have been at least 1000 years old or even older. I believed they came from Mexico because of the similar characteristics that I’d seen from the Aztecs and Mayans. I told her that they belong in a museum and they need to be studied. That’s the time that she explained that her village would not do that, and that they don’t even talk about this story to surrounding villages or to their country authorities. She said, “We used to keep it a secret for fear of the Spanish. Now it’s a fear that our Country will take our lands from us.”

This is where I got involved even more and really wanted to earn their trust. The Treasures in America team are the only people they have told this story to, and they told us in hopes that we can find the resources to help them so they can finally see and learn about the lost city that has been buried beneath their feet for as long as they can remember. Because I have been on local news channels and am considered a ‘Historical Treasure Hunter,’ they feel that I may be able to bring the right people to them to make this a worldwide discovery. They feel that the Mexican Government will come and take whatever they want whether it’s right or wrong, but if the moment of the discovery appeared on TV and/or the News, the Government would be less likely to dare get involved in the way that the village people fear.

WHO BUILT THE ANCIENT LOST CITY OF MEXICO AND WHEN? 

Over time, I’ve learned that they believe the Ancient Lost City is from the Mixtec Culture that ruled in that area.  Here’s a link to learn more.  The culture had many, many different cities, big and small, spread around the southern part of Mexico.  After a lot of research, I learned that the culture used to make gold artifacts for the Aztecs and other types of work for nearby cultures too. They were masters of artistry when it came to smelting gold. They traded with many cultures in Mexico and tried to keep to themselves until a demigod, named Eight Deer Jaguar Claw, was born into the Mixtec Culture. This warlord helped the Mixtec grow into a self-sufficient Empire.

Many leaders were crowned King and many cities were built, but still today, there is not a lot of knowledge or history about the Mixtec. The local village believes that they are descendants of the Mixtec culture. That’s why, now in the modern day, they want to work with us to help them learn more, hoping we can unearth their lost and forgotten history.

THE NEXT STEPS TO UNCOVERING THIS GREAT ANCIENT LOST CITY OF MEXICO

I was told a few months ago, that they have the pull (contacts) to help our team get the permits to dig for the city so long as the Mexico government only believes that a group of Americans hope to make a small discovery of a few artifacts. It was explained that the village’s Mayor (that’s what the village people call him) is on our side and will help in any way that he can. They offered to pick us up from the airport, house us, show us around the site, and more. The Lost City area is on private land that’s owned by multiple village people and he has already talked to the landowners. The landowners have agreed to the proposal and have given us permission to dig on their land.

The point is… I feel this could be a discovery of a lifetime. I do think this story is worthy of a TV show and would go further on to news media. Everything is in motion on TIA’s end as well as the village’s government. If we keep this story secret, I think the Mexican Government wouldn’t think much about a group of historians from America coming to Mexico, to a small village to try their luck at finding something that Mexico doesn’t even know is there. They’ll be more interested in obtaining the money for the permits.

THIS DISCOVERY COULD CHANGE HISTORY IN MEXICO

The Treasures in America team and myself are continuously working on this project and even though it could be a long-lasting effect, we’ll not give up until we are breaking ground and making discoveries. For this to go public, we need to make the story available so TV networks and News Media can see for themselves that there is a big story to be told. Once everything is in place, we will not only uncover lost history, but we’ll help bring this to the public for everyone to see and learn from it, and give the village people answers they’ve been wondering about for hundreds of years.

 XP METAL DETECTORS ORX WITH 9.5” ELLIPTICAL COIL

As soon as XP Metal Detectors became available in North America, I ordered the ORX with 9.5” elliptical coil (Part Number: ORXELL_KIT.) I didn’t have a lot of information about this detector other than a few YouTube videos I’d watched. I did find the specs, and they were impressive. I have to say the weight, style, and technology intrigued me. I pretty much ordered this detector out of curiosity to be honest with you. I figured I would try it out firsthand and if nothing else, I could sell it later.

The day it showed up, I was excited to open the box to see what it was all about. I noticed that the box looked professional and was noticeably light compared to many other light-weight detectors. I opened the lid and I saw a very impressive detector and parts, packed neatly inside the box. As soon as I grabbed the shaft, I knew instantly that it was the lightest I had ever held. I pulled out the remote transmitter and wasted no time putting it together

Within minutes, I had it assembled and it really was super light. I really liked the elliptical coil and could see that it was well built. I turned it on and found myself saying out loud, “I like the feel of this. It’s so light. Wow, look at the control menu.” I must admit, I was overly impressed, to say the least! I had planned to take my boy out that weekend to play around with it and see what it could do, but then I got a call from a customer looking to buy that one specifically. Unfortunately, I had already listed this detector on our website, and he was interested in buying. I never like telling our customers no and he was local, so I agreed to meet him the next day at the local park.

He knew that I had already put it together and wanted to test drive it. Once we arrived at the park, I had my son assist me in showing a demonstration of the XP Metal Detectors ORX 9.5” coil. Literally within minutes, we found a few coins. My son dug them up excitedly, grabbed the detector, and started detecting further. Within about an 8’ square area, he found another 4 coins…

HOW DID XP METAL DETECTORS SELL ITSELF?

As my customer and I were standing there visiting, we started noticing that my son was digging a LOT of holes and the detector was beeping like crazy. At that point, I took control and started detecting myself, finding even more coins! What the heck is going on? This detector is performing extremely well! Needless to say, the customer was thrilled and also ended buying my personal shovel, my digger, and a pinpointer. Ha! He was pretty anxious to get started with everything he needed to get started right away. It all happened so fast; I’m still wondering how he managed to convince me to sell him all the equipment I’d brought with me and leave me with nothing.

Looking back, that was like the perfect example of what all dealers want. Not only did I make the sell, but I didn’t have to sell it, the detector sold itself and the customer got exactly what he wanted, but not only that, but he was very excited about it.

I went home and ordered me another one and it sold 3 days after arriving just from the story I had told about the park. This metal detector IS impressive and will sell itself if given the opportunity!

I believe that the Garrett AT Gold is an awesome gold detector at a great price! I have sold many of these detectors and all my customers have been incredibly happy with it. THE FUTURE OF GOLD DETECTION

When it comes to looking for gold, there are many things you should consider if you want to be successful. It makes a big difference whether you are looking for gold artifacts, or gold flakes and nuggets. If you’re looking for gold artifacts i.e. coins, jewelry, relics, etc.… then I would suggest the same thing that I always do, do your history, and choose an area that has a higher chance of finding it. Places that might be more likely than others are old church grounds, known hunting grounds, sports stadiums, frequently used paths in wooded areas and even battlefields. There are other places you can look for gold relics that are more commonly thought of like in the park, at the beach, camping sites, and playgrounds, and don’t forget to hit up ghost towns if you have a chance.

When it comes to hunting for pure virgin gold, that’s a little different. First off, you need the right gold detector. The gold detector you choose may be programmed to look for larger pieces of gold while others look are intended for smaller pieces of gold.
