NOKTA ANFIBIO MULTI REVIEW AND FIELD TEST

The Nokta Anfibio Multi metal detector might just be Nokta | Makro’s best selling metal detector on their list. I own the Nokta Anfibio Multi and I have learned to really like the way it functions and its performance.

I have used this detector in areas like ghost towns and trashy areas and I think it does very well with searching for targets where other detectors get overloaded. We took the Nokta Anfibio Multi, along with many other brands of detectors to a ghost town in Utah called Frisco. We ended up in one of the trashiest areas that I’ve ever metal detected. Within minutes I noticed that the other detectors were beeping almost out of control and the display screen couldn’t tell us a good reading but not the Nokta Anfibio Multi. It remained strong and continued to give us good readings and targets.

This area had so many artifacts that a few of my friends like Truboy, was picking up old spoons, bearings, forks, and much more off the ground, using his own two eyes. The rest of the team was struggling with the consent beeping and screen readings all over the place. Some of us were new to metal detecting while a couple of us were veterans when it comes to using metal detectors to find artifacts.

I would have to say that the top two winners that found more artifacts that day were the Nokta Anfibio Multi and Truboy. This was the situation where I determined that the Nokta Anfibio Multi was a great metal detector to hunt for artifacts in a high trash area.

MY OPINION OF THE NOKTA ANFIBIO MULTI AFTER THE FIELD TEST

The biggest thing that excited me about the Nokta Anfibio Multi was its ability to hunt in a very trashy area. I think that is an excessively big deal and something for all detectorists to consider when you look at the Anfibio Multi. But that wasn’t all the highlights of this metal detector. I really liked the function to have the detector vibrate and beep when it finds a target and the option to turn the vibration off/on and/or have the detector beep instead of vibrating or due all the above.

I have hearing problems and the only way to help that is to have headphones or rely on the vibration to alert me as I’m hunting. Another thing was the display screen. I felt like it was a good-sized screen so I can see what is happening while I’m metal detecting. The last thing I wanted to brush on was the menu screen and functions for the user. I have heard people say that the functions are different and sometimes confusing compared to other metal detector brands, but I found a solution to that, read the manual, watch some YouTube videos.

The Nokta Anfibio Multi is a little different to get used to and I noticed that with minutes of turning it on. That’s when I remember Nokta suggesting that I read the owner’s manual. I took it a step further and I watched a few short videos on how to use it. That made a world of difference when I went out into the field with it for the first time. I suggest you do the same.
